The Pilates standing balance exercises in this video help to improve our proprioception and our standing stamina. We start to lose our balance as we get older especially if we don't practice balance exercises. By working on our proprioception these two exercises help our brain connect with our body so we can access the muscles we need to right ourselves if we trip or fall.
