Pilates Neutral Spine Supine / Beginners Pilates / Correct Lying Down Posture

How to set yourself up in a correct postural aligned position from supine. The majority of the beginners Pilate’s exercises are performed from the neutral spine position lying down so it's important to get it right. The neutral position comprises of five components;

1. Foot and knee alignment

2. Pelvic alignment

3. Lumbar spine (lower back) alignment

4. Ribcage (thoracic spine) alignment

5. Head and neck alignment
